About Me
My name is Rachel Hirsch.  I am committed to delivering compassionate, evidence‑based mental health care that honors the whole person. As a Board‑Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I bring a comprehensive and integrative clinical perspective shaped by my experience in mental health, primary care, and acute care nursing.

My work is deeply informed by my earlier career as a Special Education Teacher, where I learned the importance of individualized support, patience, and culturally responsive communication. This foundation, combined with advanced clinical training, enables me to care for diverse populations with complex needs through empathy, strong clinical judgment, and collaborative partnership. I believe that meaningful therapeutic progress begins with active listening, respect, and a strong alliance between provider and patient.

I hold three Master’s degrees, in Education, Adult‑Gerontology Primary Care, and Psychiatric Mental Health. This unique combination allows me to approach mental health with a broader, more comprehensive understanding than psychiatry alone. My dual clinical training in both primary care and psychiatric care strengthens my ability to recognize how physical health, chronic illness, social determinants, and emotional well‑being intersect. I am licensed to practice in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, and remain dedicated to patient advocacy, safety, and delivering the highest standard of personalized mental health treatment.
